The island of Krk offers several beautiful beaches (so much as one of them is dedicated to dogs!); its climate is typically Mediterranean, with summer temperatures around 23°C.
There are numerous occasion of amusement and every sort of water sport is here played: from sailing to the beachvolley, the kneeboard and waveboard. Some of these sports are played in the Croatian lake or rivers and the town of Krk hosts “The international boat race Croatia Cup”, the “Krcka boat race” a and the “Krcka jedra” during the summer months. You can also easily find bikes, motorbikes to rent.
Krk is a very interesting and amusing island and is not difficult to reach to: it’s situated about 25 km from Rijeka where everyday arrive trains and buses from Italy, Germany, Hungary and Austria. There’s also an airport, that offers the international flights service, too.
